Fall 2007 is ending now… We did a lot of work and I hope all satisfied by that!!!  New information technologies are very useful and interesting course. I think it is very necessary for journalists. As for beginner in Journalistic area for me it was like undiscovered thing. I learned a lot of information about techniques at all; I learned what is Weblogs, etc. And I think the main what I’ve learned are the important topics in journalism like Participatory journalism, OPJ. Internet governance in Kazakhstan!! While this course I knew many useful sites about journalism not only American or Britain, but also Kazakhstani! We wrote articles many times, we analyzed a lot of materials, and we posted our thoughts and ideas on our weblogs! Also I really liked work with my team! Juldyz, Meruert and Gulnara are best teammates!! We made weblog about Almaty and the sweetest tastes of southern capital!! Each member wrote about what she like. Gulnara wrote mostly about sport, especially about football. Juldyz wrote about girls’ beauty, about Miss KIMEP, etc. Meruert wrote about stars, exclusive concert in Almaty of the most popular musical band “Black Eyed Peace” and saying about me I wrote about parties, events not only in KIMEP but also in Almaty. In the end of work we did a presentation! I hoped that students of our course liked it!

 In conclusion, I want to say that this course for me is one of the remembered courses at KIMEP. I met a lot of friends and they are mostly journalists!!!! (The number of journalists is not so big as another at KIMEP)  J Also, I think we became a real community  which is connected with New information Technologies! By theory” Communities are groups of people who interact with one another (either directly or indirectly, intentionally or not) in order to accomplish something”. and KIMEP connects us!!

On friday were last presentations. Lesson was opened with presentation of Group which is consist of : Saniya, Yekaterina nad Nataliya. So the topic of their weblog is charity. Chicas weblog has many posts about ill children, homeless people and animals. I think it is really good toplic but at the same time i think that it is really very serious and difficult theme for group weblog. Girls told about posts, articles. Gave us examples and really story from our life. 

Ivan from Group with weblog “anihumancolor”  was the next. As i said before he was absent 2 days ago and today he decided to present and to add information about their weblog. Ivan wrote an article(post) about Color description. He explained what color is for definite type of people. Kairzhan told us about link “test on animal in you.com” but today Ivan told us about link “color Psychology”. Ivan:” When you wear clothes you always choose color what you like”. So, color has a big role in our style and in some way has an influence on the mood! As i mentioned before i really like this weblog. the idea is perfect!

today we had not 1, not2, but 3 presentations!!!

presentations started with group weblog www.almaty.wordpress.com. To say trully, this weblog looks like our weblog. Group wrote about Almaty. But one thing that made us different that we wrote a little bit free. Temptations of Almaty really have one direction- all about Almaty: places, photos of night Almaty, events, exhibitions, etc.! i really liked the number of links: if you wnt to look at fotos you can go link “gallery” and so on. On the side of technical creativity they are did a big work!

Second group was www.Welovefilms.wordpress.com. I liked their weblog too. At first because i like films, to know about last news, last event in the world of film industry. In their weblog i liked that they have a lot of different categories such as biography of the cinema stars, kazakhstani and Russian films. They hace a topic about cartoons, fantastic films, etc. They gave recommendations about what film is more better thatn other and why! i think they did a big work too! good job , girls!!!!

the last group presentation was weblog www.anihumancolor.wordpress.com. I can not say that it was group presentation, because only one member of the group presented it. But all in all i think that Kairzhan presented their weblog in a perfect way. Saying about their work, i want to note that their team really one who have very unu7sual topic. They chose it because as kairzhan said:”I like animals and all that connect them with human, but Ivan likes colors and all that are connec it with human. So, we decided to take this topic and give such name!” Also, i really liked that weblog has a lot of links with different tests, fotos, stories about animals! and i think a lot of us have a great fun when we look at wonderful pictures of human, animals. 

in conclusion of wednesday presentations i want to ”give” places to group except our group: the first place i would like to give to Kairzhan and Ivan weblog!the second to Girls who love films and the third to  tamptations of Almaty!!!

On the 3rd of December group presentations started.Our Group ” Taste of Almaty” was the  first. Saying about our group weblog -i like it   theme of weblog is about interesting events, holidays and another things which are connected with Almaty in general. 3.Authors of that site are students of university. But it was created in 2000 by Student Government of that period. I think it is a group weblog because it was made by stident organization. Students use nicknames, pseudonyms, and also who want, can use full names and surnames.

11. In this site you can argue with everybody even if you do not know that person. I am very interested in this site because KIMEP is a big part of my present life!!!

our droup discussed Wikipedia. in my opinion it is one if the most popular and usefull resource of information. it is a big on-line  encyclopedia which consist of any information of any themes and topics. I think it is very necessary resource for all of people especially for  students and pupils. I was very suprised to know that every person could write and add information. if you know description of some word better than it  was wrote there you can add and increase the number of resources. So,   it is a collaborative production which was done by people and for people. wikipedia always help me when i do some projects, presentations,etc. I think it is authoritative and credible resource. But sometimes i think there are more useless info. because everybody can write and we believe in that. Wikipedia is too open, I think. Yes, there are many interesting information. But sometimes you note that information that you found partly is just opinion of some person. So, Wikipedia has a positive and negative sides. just before taking information we should check it.  

i looked through several weblogs and posts of my collegues and came to one conclusion; we have many communities and everyone from us has his own view to the community! Kairzhan posted a good article with a several interesting pictures!!! Zhanna discribed in the whole what is the community and also give an example of her community: createam. Alua as anhel wrote about her community as KIMEP university, family as a main community in her life! so, there are other’s post about community but one thing that connect us and made us as community is the course “new information Technologies” and being on the lectures in the group  is community too!!!
